Chamber of Commerce Chooses Six New Board Members

After careful consideration, the board of directors has voted to approve the following six candidates as recommended by the Nominating Committee for three-year terms beginning with the 2011 Annual Membership Meeting later this month.

¿ Linda Bruton, publisher of “The Settler’s Guide to the U.S. Virgin Islands” and marketing representative for SkyMed Air Ambulance.
¿ Mark Eckard, attorney and shareholder in the law firm of Groner & Eckard P.C.
¿ Sandra Harty Gutierrez, executive vice president of Inter-Ocean Insurance Agency Inc.
¿ Kimberly McCollum, general manager of Quality Electric Supply
¿ Dr. Roderick Moorehead, Sr., special assistant to the commissioner of Education.
¿ Lisa Stines, owner and wellness coordinator of Flex VI and real estate consultant with Blue Sky Real Estate.
In addition, the board has appointed Todd Donohoo to fill the unexpired term of former board member Joe Zepuhar. Donohoo is president of On The Level Inc. d/b/a OTL Mechanical/Go Green.
All seven will be officially introduced and installed as board members at the 2011 Annual Membership Meeting and Breakfast later this month. A specific date for the meeting has not been scheduled pending confirmation of guest speaker Governor John deJongh. The Chamber membership will be notified once a date and location have been confirmed.
The 2011 Board of Directors also will include the following current board members:
Kevin Brandt (James River Capital Corp.), Richard D. Clay (Cane Bay Partners VI, LP), Dr. Ralph deChabert (Retired Physician and Businessman), Omer ErSelcuk (Seaborne Airlines), Matthew Leonard (CaribTrans), Stuart Logan (Pinnacle Services), Scot F. McChain (McChain-Nissman Law Group LLC), James M. Oliver (Innovative Consultant), Edgardo Torres (Glass 2000, Inc.) Vicki Bandola (Marshall & Sterling Insurance) and Lorine Williams (Coldwell Banker, Land-de Wilde Realty)
