Luis Felipe Ventura Dies at 65

Luis Felipe Ventura
Luis Felipe Ventura, also known as “Chivo,” of Estate Calquohoun died June 19 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 65 years old.
He is survived by his sisters: Juanita Ventura Bermudez, Carmen Ventura (Caby) and Tabita V. Nieves; brothers: Arturo Ventura, Geronimo Ventura, Carlos Ventura, Carmelo Ventura and Jesus Ledesma; brother-in-law, Jose A. Nieves Sr.; sisters-in-law: Ivia N. Ventura, Lydia S. Ventura and Andrea Ledesma; nieces: Sarita B. Ruiz, Pastor Noemi B. Ortiz, Dorcas B. Kidd, Jessica Nieves, Elizabeth Ventura, Margarita Ventura, Migdalia Suliverez, Ivett Ventura, Wanda Ventura, Victoria Ventura, Magaly Gomez, Myra Martinez, Pricila, Noemi and Graciela Ledezma, and Maria Belardo; nephews: Frank, Joshua (Chen), Juan F. Bermudez, Luis (Gui) Ventura, Carlos, Victor Ventura, Rogelio, Hector, Norvin, Edwin Felix, Hector, Felipe Daniel, Moises Ledesma, Juan Antonio, Jose A. Carlos Nieves and Jameel Rodriguez; special friends: Edwin Rodriguez, Jose (Tele) Maldonado, Orlando Soto; and cousins and relatives too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will take place from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, at James Memorial Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 1, at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal M.I., Calquohoun. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
