Passport Day Is September 17

The Passport Offices of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor will open on Saturday, Sept. 17, in recognition of Passport Day 2011. Both the St. Thomas and the Christiansted, St. Croix offices will be open from 9 a.m. to noon.
Residents planning to apply for or renew their traditional passports or passport cards on Passport Day are reminded that in addition to the completed passport application they will also be required to provide proof of citizenship and identity, two 2×2 photos and associated fees. Additional requirements apply for minor children. Copies of the passport application are available at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor or online at www.ltg.gov.vi.
