Sylvester Laurent of Hannah’s Rest died on Feb. 7 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 64 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Faith Laurent; mother, Melanie Laurent; daughters; Lorna Laurent and Leah Laurent-Green; son, Osmond Laurent; grandchildren: Nathan Knight, Chantel Knight, Gabriella Knight, Jaydn Green, Juliya Green and Lanaya Laurent; sisters-in-law: Felina Laurent, Oliye Paul and Eulima Jean; brothers-in-law: Homid Peter Laurent, Ferdino Paul, Iyan Jean, Arlington Paul and Garfield Paul; son-in-law, Julius Green; sisters: Daisy Pacquette, Agnes Laurent, Seraphine Laurent, Juliette Laurent and Lucy Michael; brothers: René Laurent, Errol Laurent and Paul Laurent; nieces: Magarete Pacquette, Anya Laurent and Anita Laurent; nephews: Ivan Pacquette, Jones Pacquette, Steven Pacquette and Earl Laurent; special friends: Bernard Felix, Thelma Felix, Calvary Baptist Church, Frederiksted Baptist Church, Faith Aflame Church, Signs and Wonders Church; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
