Road Striping Begins Tuesday on St. Croix, Continues on St. Thomas

Road crews will be out Tuesday to beginning pavement marking and road striping on St. Thomas and continiuing such work on St. Croix, Public Works Commissioner Darryl A. Smalls said in a news release from the department.

On St. Croix, application of pavement markings or road striping will begin Tuesday at East Airport Road and Melvin Evans Highway. The pavement markings will continue westbound on the Melvin Evans Highway until completed.

On St. Thomas, pavement markings and road striping operations will begin Tuesday at the Four Winds Intersection until completed. At the same time, similar work will continue on Veterans Drive.

Smalls requested drivers in both districts to exercise caution, adhere to all traffic control devices and follow directions from the Department of Public Works crews.
