WAPA to Hold Public Hearings on Integrated Resource Plan

Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) will hold public hearings to discuss the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) for the authority by Black & Veatch. The IRP will detail the direction WAPA should take moving forward in the area of new generation. The public is invited to hear about the IRP process and asked to give comments and ask questions about the plan. Stakeholder input will be used to revise the scenarios analyzed for the IRP study within approximately one week after the stakeholders have met.
Public hearings are scheduled for:
Monday, May 23, at Great Hall Meeting Room, St. Croix UVI Campus
Tuesday, May 24, at ACC Meeting Room, St. Thomas UVI Campus
Wednesday, May 25, at Legislative Conference Room, St. John Legislature
All meetings will begin promptly at 6 p.m.; all persons interested in hearing the plan are invited to attend.
