No Life Guard on Duty at Some St. Thomas Beaches

The public is informed that due to a shortage in manpower there is no life guard on duty at the following locations: Coki Point, Lindbergh Bay and John Brewers Beach on St. Thomas, according to a press release issued on Tuesday by the V.I. Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation (DSPR).
People should be aware that they will be swimming at their own risk. The necessary steps are being taken to expedite the process of hiring life guards; therefore, DSPR will reposition life guards in the respective beaches soon.
