The Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) is conducting a study to update the Master Plan for the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas. The study, which is funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and VIPA, identifies required capital projects to improve the airport over the next 20 years.
The public is invited to an information workshop where VIPA officials and the study’s consultant will explain the airport’s master plan contents, detail proposed updates to the plan and document public comments. The workshop will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the conference room of VIPA’s Administrative Building located at 8074 Lindbergh Bay, St. Thomas.
