Wagapalooza Returns to St. John on Saturday

The 16th annual Wagapalooza will take place on Saturday, May 19 at the Winston Wells Ball Field from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food and drinks will be on sale, and activities include games for kids, a raffle, and the widely anticipated dog show.

This year’s show will comprise of the most popular categories from previous Wagapaloozas. Owners and their dogs can vie for the titles of Best Oldtimer, Best Costume, Best Trick/Dancer, Best Junior Handler (under the age of 16), Miss and Mister Congeniality, and Best Lookalike.

Entry to the show is $20 per category, or three categories can be entered for $50.

All proceeds for the event will benefit the operations of the Animal Care Center, the local
nonprofit organization and animal shelter responsible for addressing instances of animal cruelty and neglect in the community.
