Francisca H. Fleming

Francisca H. Fleming also known as “Cica,” “Ms. Jeff” or “Aunty,” of Whim Garden, Frederiksted, St. Croix, died on Nov. 8 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery O. Fleming.

She is survived by her daughters: Cynthia (Ramona) Brown (UK) and Judy Fleming (St. Croix); grandson, Crispin Brown; great-grandchildren: Anna and Sammy; adopted son, Israel Fleming; godchildren: John Anthony Felicien Sr. and Isabella Sylvester; special friends: Alex Leblanc, Lena Maynard, Ms. Remy, Rupert A. Massiah Jr., and their families; the children and families of the late Ezeb Lawrence Alexander (STL) and Hipolito Ramos Jr.; brother, Jones Felicien; sisters: Angela Brown and Athil Didier; and nieces: Sylvina, Aisha, Paula, Juaun, Lucy, Rina, Alberta and Michela.

She is also survived by nephews: Robert, Tony, Winsbert, Harold, Claudius, Ellis, Francis, Martin, Jerome, Nico and Zacchaeus; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Veronique Felicien, Veronica Felicien, Georgia Felicien, Nehemiah and Simone Fleming, Steven and Erm Fleming, and their families; Other family and friends: former neighbors of Yellow Cedar, Mt. Pleasant West and Whim Gardens communities, Vitran Plus Bus Service, Melissa and Skenny Sylvester, Deacon Dennis Griffith and family, Dorothy St. Rose, Olivia and Idalia Payne, and Lumis Baptist; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and the funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Private interment will follow.
