According to the Virgin Islands Police Department, on Jan. 23, two fugitives from justice were arrested at the Cyril E. King Airport. At 3:30 p.m., police arrested 24-year-old Michael I. Montanez, Jr. of Deltona, Florida at 4 p.m., and Tony C. Kimble, Jr., age 25 of Meridian, Mississippi. Both men have been charged with being fugitives from justice in separate, unrelated matters.

After discovering that he was wanted in Florida for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge, Montanez was detained by Customs and Border Protection agents.
