Rosalie Sibilly Dies at 90

Rosalie Sibilly of Tortola and St. Thomas died on Aug. 25. She was 90 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philibert Sibilly; her son, Jerry; and her first grandson, Marius Jr.

Rosalie is survived by her sons: Marius Sr., and Melvin and Eric Sibilly; stepdaughter, Marie Sibilly; stepson, Eric Sibilly of St. Barths; grandchildren: Simone, Makai and Jaden Sibilly; great-grandson, C’Mari Louis; step-grandson, Tony Sibilly; step-granddaughters: Saylene Sibilly, Chantelle Wade-Caines, Chaynelle Wade, Samantha Sibilly and Daphne Sibilly;

She is also survived by a brother, Walter Williams; sister, Iris Scatliffe; adopted daughter, Jacklyn Hendrickson; daughter-in-law, C. Carrie Todman-Sibilly; brother-in-law, Arnold “Patrick” Samuel; sisters-in-law: Cathy Rivera and Erna Williams; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, at Wesley Methodist Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 2.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Centers of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix.
