Terrence E. Rabsatt Dies at 53

Terrence E. Rabsatt

Terrence E. Rabsatt, also known as “T” or “Tall T,” died on Saturday, Sept. 9. at the age of 53.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Rabsatt.

He is survived by his mother, Juanita Rabsatt; his wife, Karen Rabsatt; sister, Tammy Rabsatt-Sasso; brother-in-law, Cyril Sasso III; children: Chantel Alphonse-Taylor, Lenesha Rabsatt, Nia Roberts and Teh’Rhon Rabsatt; son-in-law, Kasheem Taylor; uncles: Adolph Rabsatt, Oraldo Rabsatt, Antonio Rabsatt, Stanley Owens, Jesse Owens, Rudolph Smith, Sherman Pressey Sr. and Dennis Bogger; and aunts: Diney Smith, Ilean Turnbull, Dinah Rabsatt, Una Rabsatt, Louise Holmes, Irene Pressey, Jacqueline Bogger, Rosalind Smith, Bernice Owens and Rhonda Owens.

He is also survived by grandchildren: Knaeem Taylor, Knight Tylor and Cienna Taylor; nephew, Jaheim Sasso; niece, J’Niyah Sasso; cousins: Patrick Hermon, Louie Hermon, Ricky Rabsatt, Anselmo Bell, Aubrey Wetson, Arthur Smith, Alvin Smith, Melvin Turnbull, Terrance Calistro, Faith Rabsatt, Preston Owens Jr., Alvin Holmes Ronnie Holmes, Wendell Holmes, Keith Russell, Sherman Pressey Jr., Denise Townsend, Jerome Owens, Derrick Bogger, Landon Hall, Alicia Winston, Abigail Hutchinson, Alva Flax, Annette Smith-Thomas, Deborah Rabsatt and Yvette Williams.

Other survivors include cousins: Lorna Pierre, Tia Rabsatt, Shauna Rabsatt, Iesha Rabsatt-Costanzo, Irene Turnbull, Alicia Turnbull-Thomas, Cheryl Turnbull, Arlene George, Alma Frett, Wanda Shackleford, Phyllis Gilliam, Patricia Gray, Valerie Patterson, Fredrica Colwes, Angela Conner, Connie Green, Volanda VanBuren, Jessica Cotman, LaTisha Armstead, Tanika Morrison, Kimberly Bogger and Ivory Smith; and special family and friends: Raleigh Weathley, Gladys and Vegan Scatliffe, Terrance Davis, Luis Donastorg, Rudy Clark; as well as family and friends too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the New Herrnhut Moravian Church. The service begins at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery in Smith Bay.

Arrangements are under the care of Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services of St. Thomas.
