VITFF Bulletin: Nathan Langley and Bridget Klein Win VI National Cross-Country Championship!

On Nov. 11, the Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation

(VITFF) hosted the Virgin Islands National Cross-Country Championships at the Renaissance Park on St. Croix. The location change was very last minute due to the amount of rainfall this past week on St. Croix, which created an inability to cut the cross-country course at Estate Negro Bay.

Athletes from the St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John districts competed in the Championship in the Under 10 and Under 14 categories for the 1-mile race, in the Under 16 category 2-mile race and the Open category 3.1-mile race.

Champions in the Under 10 category 1-mile race: Annabel Boschulte from St. Thomas and Tyler Langley Jolly Rogers Track Club.

Field Season at 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, with a developmental meet on St. Croix at the St. Croix Educational Complex Track. All athletes wishing to participate must be registered with the VITFF at https://vitrackandfield.com.
