Nydia E. Lewis

Nydia E. Lewis died on Monday, Oct. 30. Nydia was born on Jan. 30, 1959.

She is survived by her sons: Elliot Richards and Elijah Salem; aunt, Gloria Lewis; sisters: Dora Mae Thomas and Ellen R. Lewis; stepsisters: Cheryl Scott, Lori Parker-English and Sharon Shockness; sister-law, Pearl Griles; nephews: Nygell Petersen, Peter Lewis, Vincent Lewis and Ronnell Kemp; nieces: Cherese Thomas, Alisa Thomas and Tiffany Griles; and grand nephews: Daviot Mannix, Malcolm Gosira, Anwar Thomas and Jayson Thomas.

She is also survived by grand niece, Jazim Thomas; cousins: Madeline Williams, C’Quon Gottlieb, Adelle Callwood, Diana Todman, Wanda Leonard, Jasmin Thomas-Blyden, Kia Thomas, Necia Meyers, Rawlin Frett, Wayne Frett, George Lewis, Brenda Lewis, Linda Richards, Angela Robles, Shaniqua Lewis, Keisha Rogers, Shawn Lewis; and several other family members too numerous to mention.

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Blyden Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m.
