Cyprian Joshua Alphanso Samuel of Estate Glynn died on Nov. 10.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Samuel; grandson, Rasheem Inniss; and nephew: Alger James.

He is survived by his wife, Merna Samuel; daughters: Cherry-Ann Samuel, Nataliaa  Samuel, and Vashtie (Idella) Richards; sons: Andy and Shawn Samuel, Stedbert Richards and Calvin Richards Sr. and Daniel Shoy; and grandchildren: Shaequon, Jawaan, Terrell and Wayneisha Samuel, Carolann and Victoria Samuel, Iyanla Galetti, Kishawn and Tyunika Samuel, Simon Gordon Jr., Djimon Gordon, Nya and Johan Albanese, Barry Smith, Shi’Anne and T.J. Banton, Hasani Thompson, Kareem and Akeem Inniss, Kyshara Inniss-Natta, Azyza Inniss, Sherell, Julius, Jamal and Elijah Richards, Calvin Richards Jr., Rebecca and Zachary Richards.

He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Desi Cuenca-Samuel, King-Ermias Samuel, Kamilah Inniss, Jadeem and Nakeem Inniss, Z’nyah and Ji’sai Natta, Z’Dasia Inniss, Armani and Amari Crawford, Keshawn Walwyn, Kymani Garvey, Jahdai, Jamal Jr. and Jahary Richards; daughters-in-law: Karen Hamm-Samuel, Carolyn Samuel and Seannna Richards; sisters: Amelia Smith, Lorette Samuel, Clytie Samuel-Hope, Marinella Batson, Marigold Samuel, Ianthe Joseph, Marcelle Harley, Margaret Samuel, Anne Tonge, Judith Samuel-Bryan, Floretta Samuel, Mona Daniel and Cynthia James; and brother, Alphin Watts.

Other survivors include nieces: Manetta Samuel, Marcia Samuel, Cathrona Samuel, Arlene Doyle, Danielle Joseph, Sheanez James, Nerissa Harley, Shari and Elysia Bryan, Dr. Jasmine Patterson, Shelley Daniel and Arlene Watch; nephews: Andrew Samuel, Dane Samuel, Rohan Joseph, Daren and Jahmal Tonge, Andy Daniel, Detective Nigel James, Michael and Jeffrey Watts, and Kenneth Jr.; special friends: John Paris, Daniel Josiah, Kaleen Clouden, Charmaine Beazer, Ms. Jarvis, Lydia and Antonio Ayala, Members of the Midland Wesleyan Holiness Church, and Members of the Light of Life Free Will Baptist (Texas); as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 21, at Midland Wesleyan Holiness Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
