Relatives and friends are advised of the passing of Minister Elveta Wade Chalmers of Montserrat on July 31 at the age of 66 on St. Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Benjamin Chalmers; mother, Joan Allen Wade; father, John Wade, sister, Frances Wade; and brothers: Milton and Joseph Wade.
Elveta is survived by her two sons: Terrod and Elrod Chalmers; grandchildren: Celina and Terrod Chalmers II; sister, Almin Wade Bryan of Anguilla; brother, Elton Wade of Montserrat; brother, Alberto Landsmark of Holland; and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 16, at the Church of God of Prophecy by Donoe Bypass. The viewing will be at 9 a.m. and service will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Turnbull’s Funeral Home for Cremation.
