Man Found Dead in Red Hook Lagoon Identified as 65-Year-Old Resident

The Virgin Islands Police Department is investigating the death of a man found unresponsive in the Red Hook lagoon early Sunday morning.

According to a police statement, 911 received a call at approximately 8:05 a.m. Sunday, reporting a body floating in the water. Responding officers, along with rescue personnel, located an unresponsive male in the lagoon. Emergency responders checked for vital signs but confirmed the man showed no signs of life.

The deceased was later identified by next of kin as 65-year-old Lennox Todman. The cause of death is pending the results of the medical examiner’s report.
