Commercial Fishers’ Pre-Registration Meetings June 17 and 18

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that the Division of Fish and Wildlife will hold Pre-Registration Meetings for all Virgin Islands commercial fishers.

ST. CROIX: Tuesday, June 17 , from 6-8:30 p.m. at Carambola Beach Resort.

ST. THOMAS/ST. JOHN: Wednesday, June 18, from 6-8:30 p.m. at The Shack at Hull Bay.

The Pre-Registration Meeting will cover commercial compliance and resources, as well as survey and research opportunities for the upcoming fishing year. This meeting will also provide a chance for commercial fishers to complete the first portion of the license renewal process.

The Division of Fish and Wildlife kindly requests that commercial fishers schedule their port samples and submit any missing commercial catch reports, for a smooth license renewal process.
