Bernard Gaston Dies

The family of the late Bernard Gaston sadly announces his passing on Dec. 31, 2025.

Bernard leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Bernadette Gaston; his loving daughter, Orlenda Gaston; his son, Doran Gaston and his daughter-in-law Coradean Gaston; and his treasured grandchildren, Jahsiah Allembert and Doran Gaston Jr. He is also survived by his brothers Geoffery Gaston, James O. Gaston Sr., and Roger Gaston Sr., and his sisters Andrea Gaston-Antoine, MaryJane Gaston-Daniel, Theodora Nestor, and Cekia Gaston, as well as his special friend, Vandernest Allembert; by his sister-in-law, Esther Gaston, and his brother-in-law, Damian Daniel.

 He also leaves behind a large and loving extended family of nephews: Shane D. Gaston, Andre Antoine, Reginald Antoine II, Delvin Henry, Michael Nestor, James O. Gaston Jr., Roger Gaston Jr., Andres Gaston, Geoffery Jr., Godfrey, Cliff, Jude, Noel, Gregory, Christopher, Uriah Gaston, and James Olando Gaston (deceased); nieces: Melga, Vanesta, Shanika, Jacquelyne, Abegail, Anatalia, Jamaelise, Michelle, Noelina Gaston, Erica Henry, Jessica Gaston-Densmore, Ishanda Gaston-Ollivierre, and Bernadette Nestor; great-nieces: Tianna Steven, Tamika Thompson, Khadija Phillips, Sherresa Henry, Emery Henry, Aria, Shenayalis, Ja’Delise Gaston, Aaliyah Moolenaar, Jaliyah Moolenaar, Nyarai Ama Joseph, Michaela Matthew, and Andrea Antoine; and great-nephews: A’dante Steven, Jahreem Thompson, Robin Richards Jr., Thorent Lewis, Keshawn A. Merchant, Tyrese Richards, Noah and Noel Moolenaar, Michael Matthew, Malachi Gaston, Reginald Antoine III, Shane Gaston Jr., Jahsai, Victor, and D’Andre Gaston.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Marie Gaston, his father, Appolomaine Gaston, and his brother Luke Gaston.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Bernard Gaston will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, at St. Joseph Church, Mount Pleasant, with viewing at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
