Expect Hospital Construction Noise Around JLF

The Territorial Hospital Redevelopment Team wishes to inform the public that, as part of the ongoing redevelopment of healthcare infrastructure throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands, construction activities will continue to increase at various project locations across the Territory.

In particular, construction at the JFL 5-Acre Development site adjacent to the JFL-North campus will result in increased construction-related noise during peak working hours.

Construction Hours:

Monday through Friday

7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

(weather and project conditions permitting)

During these hours, members of the public may experience:

  • Increased construction noise from heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Movement of construction vehicles and equipment throughout the project site.
  • Additional truck and vehicle traffic in the surrounding area.
  • General construction activity associated with site development.

The Territorial Hospital Redevelopment Team, together with our construction partner, Gray Civil LLC, recognizes that nearby residents, businesses, hospital staff, patients, and visitors may be affected by these activities. We are committed to working diligently to minimize disruption wherever possible while maintaining a safe and efficient construction environment.

These improvements are a vital investment in strengthening the Territory’s healthcare system and creating modern, resilient facilities that will benefit our community for generations to come.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work toward delivering a stronger healthcare future for the people of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Thank you for your cooperation as we continue building a healthier tomorrow.

For questions regarding the construction activities, please contact the Territorial Hospital Redevelopment Team at info@thrtvi.org.
