Feb. 13, 2003 — The second annual Fair Race for Children will be part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Agrifest 2003 on Saturday, Feb. 15. The free race, for boys and girls 13 and younger, will be held on the grounds of Agrifest over a 1000-meter loop.
Awards will be presented to the top finishers age 9 and younger, and 10 to 13 boys and girls. Special recognition will be to the school with the most participants and to schools with the best combined finish. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. at the west walk-in gate entrance.
This event is hosted by the division of youth activities of the Agricultural and Food Fair Board and organized by the Virgin Islands Pace Runners.
