April 12, 2002 The Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands April meetings on both St. Thomas and St. Croix will hear from Roger W. Morgan, 40-year radio veteran and host of "Rock and Roll Rewind" program, now syndicated from St. Croix.
The show is, said the Ad Club release, "the hottest Virgin Islands export since rum." "Rock and Roll Rewind" is the longest running syndicated radio program in the United States and is heard by six million listeners weekly in 14 countries. The meeting is billed "Buy Local, Think Global: Syndicated Radio in the Virgin Islands."
The St. Thomas meeting is at noon Tuesday, April 16, at The Pointe at Villa Olga. Members' cost is $25; nonmembers pay $30. RSVP is needed by Monday, to 776-4747 or email info@infinityplusonedesign.com.
The St. Croix meeting is Wednesday, April 17, at Caravelle Hotel. Members' cost is $18; nonmembers pay $23. RSVP requested to 719-0578 by noon Tuesday.
