March 17, 2008 – Frederico DeCastro Matthews, also known as "Freddy," of Estate Calquohoun, died in Connecticut. He was 69 year old.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene Williams Matthews; daughters: Shelly, Angela, Latoya Matthews, Lasheeka Henry and Devanna Williams; sons: Richard Williams and Kareem Henry; grandchildren: Clarence, Vernon, Benito, Frederico, Shannel, Staraisha, Sapphire and Jahlyon; and great-grandchild, Clarence IV. He is also survived by sister, Elida Powell; brothers: Leon and Alvaris Matthews; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 9-10 a.m., on Tuesday, March 18, at the Friedensfeld Moravian Church, Estate Glynn. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
