St. Croix Environmental Association will have a Grand Pond tour from 8-11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 26. East End Marine Park Interpretive Officer John Farchette will be the guide. The tour will explore the coast, the mangrove lagoon and various inter-tidal marine organisms in their natural setting. The group will meet at Estate Great Pond (EEMP offices) at 8 a.m.
Participants are asked to bring appropriate sun protection, mud shoes and water to drink. They may want to bring binoculars as well. Call 773-1989 to register.
