I am off-island until after Easter, Tuesday, April 10, 2007. A copy of my itinerary is enclosed.
In checking with the Code-a-Phone on Friday afternoon, March 30th, I learned that jurors have been asked to appear on Monday, April 2, 2007. Last week, I flew to Connecticut to be with my wife, who has a chronic health problem and has been there for several months for medical reasons, for a visit over the Easter holiday. Based upon this, I would ask to be excused from appearing, since my return flight is April 10th. However, if Judge Gomez wants me to cut my trip short and return, please let me know, and I will do so.
