Dear Source:
This man is a giant in a very large pond. His loss to the Virgin Islands is a major blow and should serve as a wake up call to the governor and the population that the deadbeat system of payments will not work. If you dont pay your bills then you will not get what you want.
When I was ask why I would not work with WAPA and the USVI to site a wind farm on St. Croix I had to refer to the outstanding payments due and the chronic history of this behavior. If you were to put the necessary funds in an interest bearing account with all the promise of payment possible I must still doubt that I would see a timely release of funds. The history of the islands is repeating itself. Where did the post Hugo power plant go? How many millions of dollars have vanished? Why can I still get building permits approved for cash or my vehicle licensed for and extra $20.00? Why are there more people collecting government assistance than paychecks? Your system is so broken that even Warren Buffet could not fix it.
Having seen the post Hugo miracle and the great accomplishments of this man I must say your work is now cut out for you to find a replacement. Albertos outstanding leadership will be hard to match and even harder to surpass.
If this system of gross mismanagement of government is not fixed soon then the lights will go out and the entire political name calling game will not fix the problem. Either pay your bills and grow up or continue to be backwater in the world. And no, this is not a result of anything but gross malfeasance of office. In the private sector you are out of business or in jail for financial crimes.
