The League of Women Voters in conjunction with WTJX Public Television will host a Meet the Candidate Program, an open platform where candidates running for elected office are given an opportunity to state their positions on issues facing the people of the Virgin Islands.
It is hoped that the voters will find this program helpful, not only in learning more about the candidates running in this year’s senatorial, gubernatorial and delegate to Congress elections but also in gathering information to formulate a stance on the issues affecting them.
The program will continue airing at 9-10 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays until Monday, Nov 1. A gubernatorial forum will be held on Monday, Oct. 11.
