Mary Elizabeth Lewis, also known as “Aunty” or “Aunty Grace” of Orange Grove, Frederiksted, transitioned died on July 14 in Florida.
She is survived by her brothers: John Hunter and Frederick Hunter; nieces: Hillorene Douglas, Sulvina Briscoe, Kathleen Chasseau, Sandra Silcott and Althea Lindsey; nephews: Vance Silcott, Elvis Silcott, Audie Silcott, Phillip White, Anthony Leader and Clifford Bramble;
She is also survived by great nieces: Sonia Smith, Eboniqua Smith, Zariah Swanston and LaVonna Anthony; great-nephews: Wayne Anthony Keith Swanson and Radjmin Smith Jr.; godchild, Sheryl; special friends: Vincent, Mr. Morris, Lenox on the Lake and staff, Anna Fenton and Irma Williams-Thomas; as well as cousins and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Frederiksted, Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
