The VI Sixth Constitutional Convention announces the first meeting for the Standing Committee on Education & Public Information to begin planning the educational outreach initiatives for the Convention. These meetings are open to the public and media, and community members are encouraged to attend and engage in the discussions that will shape the future governance of the Virgin Islands.
The Standing Committee on Education & Public Information is responsible for:
● Educating the public on the role of the VICC, the purpose of a Constitution, and the need for a Virgin Islands Constitution
● Educating the public on the Constitution adopted by the VICC, after submitting the proposed Constitution of the Virgin Islands to the Governor of the Virgin Islands VICC Standing Committee on Education & Public Information’s First Public Committee Meeting
The VICC Standing Committee on Education & Public Information will hold its first meeting for planning and accepting public input on the items of jurisdiction. The Committee’s Chairman, Delegate Devin Carrington, will lead the meeting, discussing the Committee’s responsibility to executive relevant initiatives. The meeting particulars are as follows:

Public and Media Engagement Encouraged
The VICC remains committed to transparency and inclusive governance. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and will be allowed five minutes, each, to share their ideas or concerns with the Delegates of the VICC.
