FIREARMS LICENSE RENEWAL TIME FOR SOME

Oct. 17, 2001 – It's license renewal time for persons holding a firearms license with an Oct. 31, 2001, expiration date, the Firearms Bureau of the V.I. Police Department announced in a release.
Persons holding licenses with Nov. 30 or Dec. 30, 2001, expiration dates may also renew up at this time, since those licenses may be renewed up to 90 days in advance.
All persons who are required to renew are asked to report for applications and firearm inspections. Failure to renew will result in a penalty or fines, the release states.
