Post-Storm Recovery Contractor AECOM Donates Defibrillators

AECOM, the main company overseeing dozens of subcontractors doing hundreds of millions of dollars in federally funded hurricane recovery work in the territory, donated seven defibrillators and seven sets of emergency lights to the V.I. Fire Service for use on St. Thomas and St. John.

Remnants of Irma and Maria: Two Years Later, Blue Roofs Still Abound

Blue tarps are meant to last anywhere between 30 days and six months and yet, two years after Hurricane Maria, they still cover the homes of many of the territory’s residents in dire need of permanent roof repairs.
