A massive fire engulfed the Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist church Tuesday morning. The fire sent shockwaves throughout the community as the interior of the church was gutted by the blaze.

Church of God Academy Ranks No. 1 in STX MATHCOUNTS

Four schools competed in a rigorous display of mathematical talent in four rounds of individual and team work as they vied for first place, but it was the Church of God Academy students who took the ultimate prize in the MATHCOUNTS competition. Held in the Great Hall at the University of the Virgin Islands, Albert Sheen Campus on St. Croix on Thursday, Church of God Holiness Academy, Good Hope Country Day School, Ricardo Richards Elementary School, and John H. Woodson Jr. High School students came prepared with winning as their only option.

Live Nativity Scene Brightens Christmas Season in Kingshill

High on a hill in the late afternoon sunlight, people gathered for a service that celebrated the Christmas season. A live nativity brought smiles as both children and adults participated Sunday at St. Croix Reformed Church in Kingshill.

Red Flag Motorcade Warns Against Domestic Abuse

With beeping horns and a parade of vehicles sporting red flags, the St. Croix Seventh-day Adventist community Saturday warned onlookers of the signs of an abusive relationship. They called it “Caravan Red Flag” – a motorcade that started at Altona Lagoon and took participants across the island to the Eliza James-McBean clock tower in Frederiksted.
