Department of Health Reports Territory’s 18th COVID Death

An 18th Virgin Islander died of COVID-19 over the weekend, according to statistics reported Tuesday morning by the Department of Health. The deceased is a 68-year-old female on St. Croix, the department said.

Territory Marks 12th COVID-19 Death

The Virgin Islands Department of Health announced the 12th death of a USVI resident due to COVID-19, a day after the 11th such death was confirmed. The DOH confirmed the territory’s 12th COVID-19 death was a 72-year-old woman on St. Thomas.

Health Investigating Possible COVID-19 Death at Schneider Hospital

The V.I. Department of Health reported in a press release Tuesday it has received information from Schneider Regional Medical Center about a death that occurred earlier in the day at the St. Thomas hospital that may be associated with COVID-19.

Positive COVID-19 Test Results Increase by 14 in USVI

The number of U.S. Virgin Islanders testing positive for COVID-19 rose by 14 out of an additional 284 test results reported, the V.I. Department of Health said in an alert issued Saturday night.
