Both Districts Report Progress Toward Building Sports Complexes

Both the U.S. Virgin Islands Olympic Committee and the V.I. Housing Finance Authority told senators on Monday about the progress on building multipurpose sports complexes that would double as storm shelters on St. Thomas and St. Croix.

Finance Committee Moves 31 Appropriation Bills

The Senate Finance Committee on Thursday moved 31 bills involving the appropriation of money and fiscal year budgets for government entities to the Rules and Judiciary Committee. The action took two hours.
