Crime Stats Show No Spike During COVID-19 Crisis, AG Tells Senators

The U.S. Virgin Islands does not seem to have recorded a spike in crime during the two months since a state of emergency was declared over the COVID-19 pandemic.

VIPD Reports Increase in Firearms

Arrests for firearm violations and violent crimes jumped 32 percent from 2018 to 2019, the V.I. Police Department reported Friday to the Senate Committee on Homeland Security, Justice, Public Safety and Veterans Affairs.
