Legislature Approves 100 New Moorings, Extends State of Emergency

With over 200 new vessels registered by the Department of Planning and Natural Resources during the COVID-19 pandemic, the installation of additional moorings across the U.S. Virgin Islands has become paramount to sustaining the demand for transient vessels.

Dream Yacht Charters Opens STT Location

The coronavirus pandemic didn’t delay Dream Yacht Charters plans to open its newest location on St. Thomas on June 1, according to a company official.

Higby and Stanton Win Their Weight in Rum at STX Regatta

The St. Croix Yacht Club hosted its 27th annual international regatta this weekend and attracted top Virgin Island racers along with spectators, old salts and party lovers.

Not Even Hurricanes Could Stop These Entrepreneurs

The story of Stormy Pirates Boat Charters on St. Thomas was supposed to begin on Sept. 1, 2017, but hurricanes Irma and Maria were heading our way. The debris was barely cleared when Kristie and Richard Weiss started their business in early 2018. Less than two years later, they have grown from two to six boats.
