THE NUTTY PROFESSOR 'FLATULENCE-FUELED FUN'

The Nutty Professor II The Klumps, labeled by one reviewer "Flatulence-Fueled Fun,"perhaps tells it all. But, stick around.
Eddie Murphy is here again as the shy, gracious and obese professor Sherman Klump, along with his alter-ego and nemesis, Buddy. In an effort to rid himself of this continual nuisance, Sherman comes across a unique idea.
He decides to get rid of Buddy by extracting Buddy's DNA from his system. But it doesn't really work. Just when things seem to go smoothly, Buddy pops out and tries to destroy Sherman's romance with his fiancé Denise ( Janet Jackson).
Buddy lays claim to Sherman's astounding anti-aging and highly lucrative invention, a youth serum which can turn back time temporarily. Sherman hides the serum, but Buddy finally finds it and steals away.
Chaos now reigns as Sherman begins a race against time to reclaim the formula, marry the woman he loves, and get some order back into his life before Buddy can market the youth serum. It's not clear where there's time for all the flatulence to fit in, but Eddie Murphy fans will have faith.
It is directed by one Peter Segal, and abetted by four writers.
The film is rated PG-13 for crude humor and sex-related material.
It starts Thursday at Diamond Cinemas.
