MARIA POWELL SERVICES WEDNESDAY

Maria Louisa Powell, known to her friends as "Lady P," of #95-C La Grande Princesse, died Wednesday, April 18 at Juan F. Luis Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 at St. John's Anglican Church in Christiansted. A viewing will precede the service beginning at 9 a.m.
Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters; Pauline Powell Brown, Glenda Powell Zaker, Maud Powell Phillips, Dr. Carmen Powell-McMillian and Valerie Powell-James; sons, Roosevelt Powell, Theodore Powell, and Ottley Powell; several grandchildren including, Marquis, Trevor, Jascinth Brown Francis, and Patricia Brown Jarvis; 39 great-grandchildren including, Nadisha and Joshua Powell; sister, Blanche Nisbett; numerous nieces and nephews; daughters-in-law, Inez and Shirley Powell; sons-in-law, Larry Brown, Alfred Zakers, Alexander Phillips, Osby McMillian, and Calvin James; along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
