ST. KITTS-NEVIS P.M. DOUGLAS TO SPEAK IN V.I.

UVI's St. Kitts and Nevis Student Association is sponsoring a forum featuring the Prime Minister of the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Denzil Douglas, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Palm Courts Harbour View Hotel on St. Thomas. Dr. Douglas will address the free movement of nationals within the member countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
As current chairman of the OECS, the prime minister is in an ideal position to discuss not only the issues of free movement, but also how this will affect other issues such as citizenship, employment opportunities, land ownership and the assimilation of non-nationals.
The forum is open to the public. Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis and other OECS member countries are encouraged to attend.
