NO SIGN OF MAN OR HIS CAR MISSING FOR A WEEK

Feb. 27, 2003 – Police are continuing to search for clues into the disappearance of 21-year-old Antonio Garnett of St. Croix. He was last seen leaving his job in Barren Spot at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 20, Police Chief Novelle Francis said.
Garnett is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. Francis said he has a slight mustache and short hair worn in a fade style, has a scar on his right shoulder and walks with a limp.
Francis said Garnett reportedly was going to meet someone at the McDonald's restaurant in Ville La Reine. He drives a black, 2-door 1994 Honda Civic with heavily tinted windows, Francis said, and the car also is missing.
"He lives in the Clifton Hill area and is known to frequent the JFK housing community," Francis said.
Garnett was last seen wearing black pants, a blue T-shirt and a blue head tie. Francis said family members reported him missing last Friday.
"We are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact police," Francis said.
