NURSING LICENSE RENEWAL BEGINS

July 26, 2003 – Virgin Islands Board of Nurse Licensure Executive Director Winifred L. Garfield has issued a release stating that all current RN and PRN licenses are due to expire on December 31, 2003, and that renewal applications will be mailed out on August 1.
In the statement Garfield cautioned that failure to receive a renewal application does not excuse one from the requirements of license renewal, or from any disciplinary action resulting from practicing without a license.
Those needing to visit the Nurse Licensure Bureau in person are advised that the office is located at 3 Kongens Gade, in the courtyard across the street and up the steps from the DeLugo Post Office.
For additional information call 776-7397, or e-mail the Licensure office at staff@vibnl.org.
