News Brief: UVI Town Hall Meetings Postponed

April 11, 2005 – A series of University of the Virgin Islands Town Hall Meetings, scheduled for the week of April 11, has been postponed.
Dr. LaVerne E. Ragster, UVI president, called for the meetings to seek input from members of the community about how the university may be able to meet the future needs of the territory. Sessions were scheduled for April 11 on St. John, April 12 on St. Croix and April 13 on St. Thomas.
Ragster was called away on a family emergency, according to Patrice Johnson, public relations director for the University.
New dates for UVI Town Hall Meetings on all three islands will be announced as soon as possible.
