Governor Again Names Alecia M. Wells to PSC

May 24, 2004 – Alecia M. Wells of St. John has been named to a three-year term on the Public Services Commission by Gov. Charles Turnbull. She has served on the PSC since 1997.
The governor made the announcement in a press release dated Monday, asking the members of the Legislature for their favorable confirmation of Wells so the board can "continue to meet its busy agenda without interruption."
Wells currently works as program manager for vocational technical education at the Education Department. She has worked for the Education Department for over 25 years, starting as a teacher. She served as deputy superintendent from 1995 to 1998. Wells is also a member of the Board of Elections.
She graduated from Bryant College in Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in business and secretarial studies.
Wells is a member of the Girls Scouts of America, the Red Cross, United Way, the Bishop's Committee at St. Ursula's Episcopal Church, and the St. John Festival and Cultural Committee.

Thank you for tuning in - the live feed from the VI Legislature should resume momentarily.

When will we receive our tax refunds, and stimulus checks many have not received? Stop the distraction nonsense

Planning his re-election he thinks…

Is he still speaking?

he's back!

I hope it comes back!
