July 5, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is experiencing problems with its telephone system on St. Thomas and is unable to accept incoming calls to its main number – 774-3552. Technicians are presently working on the system and hope to restore telephone service today, a release from the authority said.
