Zandra E. Petersen Earns NJC Certificate

Sept. 23, 2006 – The National Judicial College announced that Zandra E. Petersen, executive director of the Public Employees Relations Board in the U.S. Virgin Islands, recently completed the requirements to earn her Professional Certificate in Judicial Development in Administrative Law Adjudication Skills from The National Judicial College. Petersen is the first Virgin Islander to complete the requirements for this type of certificate.
The NJC's certificate is an innovative program designed for judges who want to concentrate their studies in one academic area. It is a hallmark of study that complements existing degrees. Judges who earn certificates achieve a higher level of judicial expertise, skill and knowledge.
Petersen is married to Donald A. Petersen and is the daughter of Dorothy Lake, both of Frederiksted.
