Sept. 25, 2006 The Raphael Wheatley Skill Center announced that registration for evening classes begins today, Sept. 25, and continues through Oct. 19, at the Sugar Estate location. It is directly behind the Lockhart Elementary School, west of Schneider Regional Medical Center.
Those interested can register between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., on Monday through Friday. The courses offered are: microcomputer application, carpentry, computer repair, electronics and cosmetology. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, from Oct. 2 through Feb. 8, 2007, according to a press release from the Wheatley Skill Center.
There is a $100 registration fee payable by money order only. Additional lab fees may apply. For information, call the Skill Center at 774-6277.
