Dear Source:
Why should the "selected few" continue to be the only ones to live fat off of the system and the hardworking average man and woman of these Virgin Islands forever pay for that. Why should we work for minimum wage for 40 years and retire with nothing?
Senators who truly want to SERVE the people should try to remedy that situation so that we could all move a step up rather than fighting to keep the majority of Virgin Islanders below the national poverty level.
We pay them well; it's high time that we start seeing worthwhile returns on the investment.
