Dear Source:
I have received so many prayers, e-mails, and voice messages from all my friends in the Virgin Islands. It's impossible to express my gratitude to everyone with the same deepness they have expressed to me. Maybe this note will reinforce my heart-filled thanks to all that have taken time to wish me well. I really do appreciate all your prayers and e-mails. My belief in God and His will commits me to looking forward to a positive outcome. Whatever that outcome, it will be right for me.
My eye surgery has not gone as well as expected. As my doctor put it, "my expectations were a bit too high." I have been left blinded by the procedure, and the impaired vision in the other eye may curb my writing enthusiasm. Maybe one too many "cheeky bastards" letters were my downfall. Still, I remain optimistic that my belief and prayers will lead me in the direction planned for me.
Again, thank you to everyone. I hope to see you very soon and be back to enjoying our lovely Virgin Island.
