Dear Source:
My name is Sarah I. Sotomayor and I currently reside in the state of PA. Ever since I moved here from St.Croix (5 years ago) my family and I have been mailing each other back and forth, but sadly I have to say that as the days go by the mail delivery in STX gets worse. Just last week Monday I mailed my mom a package via Express Mail which cost $43.00, and my mom didn't receive it until this Monday. This is truly ridiculous. I went to the local post office and all they did was give me the 800 to call and complain, which I later did but no luck there I guess that to the US Post Office Customer Service isn't a priority. After the death of my father Luis A. Sotomayor (Ponce) in December 2006 I've been sending my mom more mail, and more packages just to keep her busy and help her and myself through grief, but with this mail delivery issue it really makes this hard. I'm a little relieved that at least someone in St. Croix cares and is seeking a change Thank you Donna Christensen for writing to John E. Potter, and for speaking out for all of us.
